Paul Peglar is an actor, musician and educator based in Brooklyn.

After graduating from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television Paul worked on stage (Ford Amphitheater, LA Made) and screen (Glee, Fame) and later signed to Verve Forecast with vocal-electronic project Sonos, affording him performances at SXSW, Sundance, and Symphony Space as well as eclectic collaborations with Sara Bareilles, Margaret Atwood, and the Young @ Heart Chorus. His follow-up project, postmodern vaudeville duo Dakaboom, garnered 400+ performances across 48 states. 

As a versatile singer/pianist/composer Paul has formed and played with bands ranging from rock and R&B, to barbershop and cabaret, and currently performs with psych-pop outfit Strange Weather, pop harpist Lexie Lowell, and the dynamic Piper and Paul (whose debut EP dropped summer ‘23). For over a decade he has worked as a music director and vocal coach throughout the US, UK, and Switzerland, and currently serves as the Vocal Director at Steps On Broadway. 

As a producer he has created and hosted live arts events with Lightning Society, Club Same Same, Olympic Tower, and the arts nonprofit ECHT, which he cofounded in 2015. An avid storyteller as well, he has been featured multiple times on the RISK! podcast and recently returned to the stage as Jonathan Larson in tick, tick…BOOM!
